this is a story about a girl who had a really hard and rough life until she turned 18. she grew up in the country. then she goes out on her own to start a new and better life. she starts going to college and gets a part-time job as a cook in prison. while in college she meets a boy and starts to have feelings for him but knows she could never be able to be with him because he is the most popular boy on the campus.
