Young Author -Isabella Campbell, normal sixteen-year-old girl, normal grades (A's and B's, the occasional C in Math), normal life, finds everything to her liking...almost. Until a figment of her imagination becomes reality. Bella falls asleep with her laptop open one night during the making of her manuscript before she sends it off to a publishing agent, and she experiences a very rude awakening when she awakens to find her laptop missing.
Searching high and low, Bella finds nothing, until the weekend is over and school is back in her life...with new student, Camp Phoenix. Her book's fan-girl love. Her charming, rude but comical and caring, Camp Phoenix. Her unpublished character she created to fall in instant love with. Her character. Her character that SHE created! And people were chasing him in real life now.
Bella can't take the similarities, the backgrounds, the life stories. She has to find her laptop, find a way to add a feature to this character and see if the two are connected, real life AND fictionally.
Bella convinces Camp to help her find her computer, her manuscript, but when she finds that she's falling in love with real Camp Phoenix, she doesn't want him to return to fiction, and she's almost okay with leaving her manuscript unseen by the world. But that isn't how things are supposed to be.
Camp is here for inspiration to end Bella's manuscript, so it seems, but once she finishes it, does her writer's block cease to exist, along with Camp?
Will Camp be able to remain real? Or will he have to return to her manuscript and be known to the world by the pages of a book?
What does one do, when fiction is their reality?
