This new presence has begun to direct the nineteen year old owner of Oscorp Industries down a dark path. A twisted path. The voice urges him to seize the way to win. A ruthless attempt to smuggle drugs into the city on the Staten Island Ferry ends when the costumed vigilante battles the villain to a standstill. Before they escape, the teenage hero attaches one of his tracking devices to the tail of the Scorpion, allowing him to track the whereabouts of this dangerous criminal. Recently, Peter Parker has been troubled by an unsettling thought. Something jogs a memory from his past and he is struck by an awful feeling, a premonition warning him of a future catastrophe. The words, everything that we've ever known or loved is in danger of ending, are stuck in his head. Even worse, Spider-Man crosses paths with Zoltan Amadeus and this enigmatic new threat seems to confirm his worst fears by telling the hero he has no idea what is on the horizon.
