We all have our different memories of Christmas. For Travis, these memories are not so pleasant so he chooses to sit out on Christmas in his adulthood. This has been a long tradition for him until one encounter with a stranger at the airport left him remorseful.  Now, back in the Christmas spirit, he reluctantly travels back to his home town where Christmas was born and destroyed in his life. He hopes to catch that spark and rekindle the Christmas fire in both himself and the people in his town. As fate would have it, he stumbles upon Santa and decides he wasn't leaving the big white bearded guy in the read cloth until Santa Claus is coming to town.
