Who was that man if not a miserable helpless body that was supported by the strength of his pain alone? He was just nobody. An empty body where rancor and desolation slammed between the walls of that enclosure.
He had to breed a creature just like it was his pet; it wasn't a pet and it didn't even derserve to be considered an ''it''. This creature feeds on his feelings. He's never been more alone.
