Can she survive her past, so she can have a future? I never knew what I had done to my pack to be treated so horribly. I was found alone in the woods when I was just five years old by the Alpha of the Red Moon Pack. I had no memory of my life before being found by the Red Moon Pack. I guess my life was rough, so I thought I would finally have the life I had wanted, but I ended up broken physically, mentally, and emotionally. I was considered the lowest of the low, as an Omega I was given the jobs of everyone in my pack. I had to make sure the food was cooked and served on time, then clean the whole pack house and complete everyone's laundry and do the dishes. I had been given these jobs when I was thirteen, but the beatings did not start until I was sixteen. We as werewolves have our first shift when we are sixteen, and since I did not shift my Alpha thought if they beat me, it would force the shift, which of course it didn't. My main goal if I could survive this hell hole, is to find my mate and finally be happy. At the rate I am going I will die here either by the hands of my tormentors or my own hand.

I was getting ready to start my senior year of high school when my dad was offered a promotion in an ally pack. He was our alpha's younger brother. (In other words my uncle is the Alpha.) I remember my mom telling me how mates are supposed to love and protect one another. I also remember her telling me that if my mate truly loved me, then he wouldn't care if I could half shift. There only a handful of us that can half shift and we are looked at, as true monsters that parents tell their kids before they go to bed. Austin loves me, he's seen my other form and he's seen me kill a man in a crazy state. But see that's the down fall of half shifting; if we aren't careful we could go crazy and kill anything and everything. This feeling when the darkness takes over, is hard to describe.
