Maybe being a transgender teenager in a house with 2 moms and a nonbinary sibling wasn't the life he wanted to live. It's cool that he isn't the black sheep of the family. But he is the poison ivy in a field of sunflowers. He doesn't know why though, he does what he is supposed to. So why can't he catch their attention? A story of ASLAN drowning in the loud sound of silence. He wants the chance to rant about how a girl at school hugged him. Or the way he won the spelling bee for the 3rd time these past 2 semesters.
