Would you be scared if you woke up every night after your sixteenth birthday with a vision of a man's bright menacing green eyes staring at you? Even flashes of them when your not sleeping? Samantha is. While dealing with these strange visions she is also having to cope with the death of her mother after she was hit by an oncoming suv two months ago. Being an only child she's torn apart that the only person she can confide in is her tough, straight faced military father, who doesn't offer much help. Samantha is also getting the sense that she's being watched. As the person behind the green eyes starts to slowly reveal himself as a boy named Damian, she discovers that he's not all together human, and neither is she. In the middle of all this she realizes that she is slowly falling in love. But she suspects he's keeping secrets from her that could lead her to get hurt. Does he have something to do with her mothers death? Or are there greater forces at work?

Preview: I looked up, and smiled at Cole. I knew what has happened to me. I just didn't want to show too much of it. Ever since I started to know him, I was really happy. I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."Complete

There is about one zillion comeback running through my head, but my brain only focuses on the man whose green eyes has somehow turn into black because he is mad at me. "Do you know what happens to rebellious people?" I keep moving back until my back hit the wall and I hiss out in frustration. I swallow hard and try not to look at him, pissing him off would be a good thing when we aren't the only ones in the whole house. "Do you?!" He demands with a roar. "No, I don't. Tell me." Preview Into Book. I was taught to hate werewolves because my father told me they killed my mother. But when I looked into the green eyes, I saw how scared he was.
