Phil is completely broken. he has many problems. the biggest is Selective Mutism, meaning he refuses to speak at all. because of this, he hasnt spoken for nearly four years. he has post traumatic stress distorder, anxiety, depression, and a eating disorder. he attends college, but decides he sits in the back in every one of his classes, and due to his overprotective aunt, is forced to attend therapy. Phil knows its not working and probably never will.
what happens when Dan, an outgoing, generally happy boy sees Phil, and is completely compelled to fix him at first sight? can he do it? in the end, will he be able to fix Phil, or will he fail?
