Eridell is a valley that rests hidden amongst mountains and dense forests; a fantastical kingdom where humans and dragons are companions, linked together at birth with a strong telepathic connection. In this kingdom, there live three especially unique people: Syn, a dragon breeder linked with a common dragon, leaving him at the bottom of the hierarchy; Kira, a respected rider who soars the skies protecting and patrolling her kingdom; and Edlyn, a princess who longs to rule better than her father.
A cold-blooded murder sends shockwaves through Eridell, leaving them helpless and stripped of a ruler. This is when Syn, Kira, and Edlyn are brought together from different worlds, entrusted with bringing down the murderer who has put everything they know in danger. With the help of a dragon shifter who seeks redemption and dragons they never knew existed, the three begin their journey; a journey that will push them to their mental and physical limits. How far will each one go in an attempt to reshape their lives, and is it all in vain?

She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. Blessed with the ability to call on the light of the dawn, Allora is a paragon of hope as she sheds light on a growing darkness. And as the tenth member of the Fellowship of the Ring, she journeys with them to destroy the One Ring for good and rid the lands of Middle-Earth of the darkness and evil of Sauron, the very being her father fought over 3000 years prior. Where he fought at the start of the battle, his daughter will fight for the end. But through all this fighting and all this darkness and light; through being the ray of hope for everyone else, Allora finds a ray of hope for herself. A ray of hope that takes form in her Elvish companion, Legolas. Facing darkness from the likes of which she's never seen and feelings from the likes of which she's never felt, it's safe to say that this battle is going to be harder than any that Allora has ever fought before in her long life. When men attack the village, her father disguises her as a young boy and makes her swear never to reveal her identity. When the marauders discover her, they take her and the other women and children hostage. Erys struggles to survive. Hiding her identity is almost impossible, and once they get her to the slave market, she would be trapped forever, and her true identity discovered. She plans her escape every night but has no idea where to go or who to trust. Her only sure plan of action is to free her mother, who has disappeared along with the other women captured the night of the attack. But first she has to escape her captors.
