He's not a superhero anymore, not really. Without the backing of the Avengers or Stark Industries, Spider-Man is more of a street-level vigilante. The police and media are just as ready to paint him as a menace as they are a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Though he has no plans to ever be unmasked again, Peter realizes that it might help to get a lawyer.
It's a good thing he knows one.
