Margo Fields has spent several years convincing herself that she made the right decision to bury her past. Running away from her menacing mother, and leaving her younger sister Bambi behind, Margo is determined to recreate her life. From Bambi's reckless and depressive behavior to the older boys in her bedroom, Margo battles with trying to understand her reasoning. Vanessa is a sixteen year old orphan from Vermont. With a rough past and no hope of getting adopted, she is surprised when one day a lovely couple walks in and adopts her into their family. From poor to rich and lonely to very well known in the matter of twenty four hours. Vanessa slowly learns how to cope with her new life the best way she can, but when she falls for Mason, her life encounters even more rollercoasters than she could have ever imagined. She learns how to deal with his anger and controlling nature, but when their love turns lethal, she may not come out of it alive.
