Choices-are the variety of choice that you can pick or decide between two or more possibilities.
For Serenade Deryn Salamanca choices are already part of a humans life, for her you always need to choose between something or anything. That's why when she had a problem and she already have to choose, She chose to run away and dealt with it all by her self. because the man that she loved hurt her so she chose the best way to get rid off it. She ran not knowing the consequence she has to take along the way.
