Sophia Russell is a firefighter and the younger sister of George Russell. From the ages of 7-12, she wanted to be a racer like her brother but then she had a change of mind and wanted to be a firefighter but not in the UK but in the US, more specifically Chicago, Illinois. When she turned 18, she applied for the Chicago Fire Department and within a couple of weeks, she had an interview and was accepted. Her dream was finally coming true. When the day came for Sophia to move across the Atlantic, George knew that it was going to be tough not to have his sisters support at every race but they promised to keep in contact all the time, whether it was day or night but George was aware of the dangers his sister's job entailed. Once Sophia completed her training she was placed at Firehouse 51, where Matt Casey and Kelly Severide took the young Brit under their wing and looked after her and they became brothers to her because her actual brother was 4000 miles away. Sophia spend her time on truck 81 with Matt as her lieutenant and he saw potential leadership in her. By the time the young Brit was 19 she was second in command on truck 81 and by the time she was 20 she became a Lieutenant on truck 81 with the support of Casey and Severide who is Lieutenant on Squad 3. Sophia uses some of her furlough to go and surprise her brother and family at the British Grand Prix but is on call in case she needs to head back to Chicago. What will Georges reaction be when he sees his sister for the first time in almost 3 years? And will she catch the eye of a certain British McLaren driver and how will he react to the fact that she's a firefighter on the other side of the world? And how will her two work brothers react when they find out she could potentially have a boyfriend by the time she returns to Chicago? Find out in The Fighting Russell
