Gothic Tale

Just got off from work, walking down the same old road I always did on my way home. It had been raining because you can see the steam coming of the road.Thank goodness I decided to wear my trench coat it was a little bit chilly tonight. Wrapping myself up in it as much as I could I started on my path home. It's pretty weird being on my own now. I turned 19 just a few months ago and the day I did I high tailed it out of my parents place they were always fighting and trying to bring me in the middle of it to pick sides between the two of them. Turning down the alley I normally do I have become used to the old musty smell and all the rats running around trying to find crumbs of food people had thrown out. Broken pips sending out smoke making it look like a scene from a horror movie. I heard a loud noise come from the back just before I felt something push me to the wall causing me to lose my breath. It was a man I could smell the old spice he had on.
