The only Clans of Sun Hill- StormClan and GrassClan- have a great omen gaining on them; But not one that they expect.
With Ravenwing exiled for over 8 moons, he and his mate, Alice, who was once a kittypet, have been raising their two kits- Bramblekit and Lilykit- far beyond the Twolegplace, away from the Clans as they dared go. Alice, while in their small territory, receives this terrible omen from StarClan; a warning.
A storm is coming for the Clans. Not one of rain and thunder, but of cold and hail. One which will continue to thrive until the Clans are driven out of Sun Hill, where each cat will fall away until there is nothing left. Ice will spread over the territories, spreading chills of terror. This storm must be stopped, or the fate of the Clans will be no more.
Why, Alice asks herself. Why did StarClan send this omen to me, of all cats?
From this omen, Ravenwing and Alice come to an agreement. To send their own kits, who have just turned 6 moons old, to the territory of StormClan- Ravenwing's old Clan. They believed this omen had something to do with their kits, and they were willing to send them far out into the forest and past the wall of the Twolegplace to have them grow to be strong warriors and help protect the Clans from this so-called storm.
Bramblekit and Lilykit, off in search of StormClan territory, don't know what danger and adventure lie ahead of them. Morningpaw of StormClan is unaware of the traveling kits, nor the strange and unusual omen upon the Clans. And Brokenkit, a kit born to be killed, wishes he could do something to stop the ways he lives in and grow up to be a strong cat.
These cats have a lot on their paws without knowing it, but one of them is lost and can't do anything until help comes.
