Hello readers! My name is Shannon and I'll be writing and editing Sanctuary week-by-week. The book is roughed in with fifteen chapters. I don't have a posting strategy but will try to publish a chapter per week as they are finished. Please follow, like, and leave comments and thoughts for the story as it develops. Book Summary:
Adelia is a Moirai, don't call her a fairy. She doesn't like that. Born from the emotion embedded in abandoned places, the Moirai are bound to their sanctuaries. Rarely seen by humans, they keep to the abandoned places and travel through doors. But to a seer like Jeremy, their world is open. He just doesn't know it yet. When he stumbles into Kenneth's Cabin in the middle of a storm, Adelia seizes her chance to use his sight to save her friends, herself, and maybe the human world, too. My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. Though, I know she only says that because I'm just like my father; who went out to curb his appetite for new experiences and never came home. Do I feel abandoned? No. How could I? Not when I fully understand the craving... Fae almost never leave Avalon. It's rare, and normally Fae that leave Avalon are forced into exile. Hardly ever do they leave voluntarily. My mother hates to see me leave, and a part of me is ashamed to do so, seeing as I'm basically abandoning her like my father. But she has my baby brother, Almned, who isn't even 500 yet. And I'm one penalty away from serving time in the Avalonian Guardhouse. Which is ridiculous, considering I have only broken a few rules. Avalon used to be a vast place of freedom, a sanctuary for persecuted Fae, the Homeland where everyone had a voice. Well... Avalon is not what it used to be... Natsu realizes his feelings for her, but isn't sure how to convey them. Will he manage to get through her thick-headed personality, or will he be forever considered "just a friend"? As the characters go through their own social problems, other problems start to arise. Magic manipulation, and an old alumni threaten them as Lucy attempts to recover from her past.
