Hello readers! My name is Shannon and I'll be writing and editing Sanctuary week-by-week. The book is roughed in with fifteen chapters. I don't have a posting strategy but will try to publish a chapter per week as they are finished. Please follow, like, and leave comments and thoughts for the story as it develops. Thanks for reading, I know there is a lot of content out there so I appreciate your literary time and attention!

Book Summary:
Adelia is a Moirai, don't call her a fairy. She doesn't like that. Born from the emotion embedded in abandoned places, the Moirai are bound to their sanctuaries. Rarely seen by humans, they keep to the abandoned places and travel through doors. But to a seer like Jeremy, their world is open. He just doesn't know it yet. When he stumbles into Kenneth's Cabin in the middle of a storm, Adelia seizes her chance to use his sight to save her friends, herself, and maybe the human world, too. Little does she know, her past may not be what she thinks it is, and her journey to escape the enchanted gold coins she's bound to may unlock deep secrets only her ancient master knows.

For the fae, magic is everything: status, power, wealth, honor. For Vera Reite, a fae born with no magic, it is a shameful reminder that she will never amount to anything. Whispers of a fae-killing monster begin to circulate the Moon Court. It lurks in the woods, feeding off the mana of its victims. Those that go missing and find themselves at the mercy of the beast are never seen or heard from again. Fear quickly takes hold of the fae court; it's only a matter of time before their whole world is destroyed by this creature. However, it offers Vera a glimmer of hope. When she learns of it, she ventures into the wood to kill the beast, believing that she will be able to absorb the magic it has stolen. But the woods are as dangerous as the beast, and Vera soon finds herself lost. In a stroke of luck, she comes across an old manor deep in the forest where a strange boy is sealed away. If Vera wishes to slay the beast, she will first have to uncover the secret of the manor and its prisoner before it's too late. 𝐀 𝐟𝐚𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜. 𝐀 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭. Lucy loses her family in a tragic plane crash at a terribly young age of 6. Whether she's alive or not, no one knows... That is, until a full 10 years pass and her temporary home is found by a couple of lost hikers. They take her in and leave her with the Japanese government. They're surprised to see that she can hold normal conversations with people and is up to date with everything she needs to know to go to school. The only downside is her lack of magic, and instinctual impulses. Her abilities and smarts land her in an unknown school; Fairy Tail High School for the Highly Advanced, or FTHS, where she is met with the true colors of her new society. Discrimination, social status, and just simple, high school anxiety. Not only that, but she has mysterious dreams, with herself as the main character. Will she make it through the school year? Natsu is just an ordinary kid; he's not famous, and definitely isn't from some conglomerate family. To make up for that, he's kind, smart, and has a sense of humor. He finds the smallest of things interesting. Which, of course, leads him straight to Lucy, the social outcast. One thing leads to another, and soon, Natsu is teaching this strange girl the world of magic. They become friends rather quickly, and her unexpected actions never ceases to calm his storm of a day. Natsu realizes his feelings for her, but isn't sure how to convey them. Will he manage to get through her thick-headed personality, or will he be forever considered "just a friend"? As the characters go through their own social problems, other problems start to arise. Magic manipulation, and an old alumni threaten them as Lucy attempts to recover from her past. Will they make it out alive, or will the world end, with the villain as the victor? All characters and cover photo don't belong to me! Thanks for clicking on the story :)
