Hinamori Amu and her friends, the former Guardians of Seiyo Academy, Hotori Tadase, Mashiro Rima, and Fujisaki Nagihiko, have finally entered middle school!!! Along with their Shugo Charas!!! And they've reunited with Souma Kukai, the "big brother" of the group of friends.

They'll be helping Yuiki Yaya, Hiiragi Rikka, and Ichinomiya Hikaru with Guardian work, X-Eggs, and find future Guardians to fill in their places.

Tadase hopes that he can take his relationship with Amu to the next level. Amu hopes so, too! But, at the same time............... she's hesitant and unsure........... What would happen if she meets a certain person???

But, when the former Guardians thought that there are no more threats to their home now that they and Easter are on good terms, something or someone, who has been hiding in the shadows for many centuries, has decided to appear..............
