Things finally felt like they were getting back on track. No more supervillains to fight, no more alien invasions, and no more spontaneous trips to space. Junior year was coming to an end, and with it came the end of the year trip. An entire weekend in Europe, giving all of us a much needed break after the events that had taken place barely a year ago.
I never thought it would turn out the way it did. When you live the life of a superhero, you don't get to take vacation days. Crime and disaster follows you wherever you go, and love takes a backseat to your profession. No matter how badly you want to make up for lost time, there's always someone ready to step in and take back what they lost.
I wish things could have been different. One day soon, I know we'll get our happy ending. But for now, I guess I'll have to settle for living the wild life. I know I can make it, as long as I'm with you.

Originally you were Pepper Pott's personal assistant, needing a full time job after graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since then you've slowly moved your way up; coffee runs far behind you now that you were working in the second highest level Stark Lab, the 'B' lab. The highest being the (A.) Avengers Lab. As the year came to an end you were sure you were getting a promotion. Finally you would be working directly under Tony Stark. Then he came along. Peter Parker. A senior at Empire State University.
