They started as enemies, tangible tension seeping through conversations and spitting each other's last names out with animosity. But something so unstable-and so unwanted-could never stay the same for long.
Soon, they were friends, spending rainy days together, learning each other's interests, laughing until their sides were aching-but something so unexpected and unusual was socially forbidden at Hogwarts, and ultimately forced to be kept a secret. But as they grew, their love for each other sprouted and flourished and flamed, leaving both breathless and restless and aching for more.
