Unrequited love is a sickness and seventeen-year-old Rose has a grim case of it.
Being in love with the boy next door who happens to be your best friend is one thing, but having to endure witnessing him fall more and more in love with somebody else right in front of your eyes for 7 years is another.
It's her last year at Hogwarts and Rose grows tired of waiting for a lost cause. It's finally time that she realizes her worth and seeks sights of focusing on herself, but the farther she begins to distance herself from him, the more James Potter finally sees her. As their relationship cultivates its complexity, a war is beginning to brew on the horizon. James has always been her town, but now she's an exile seeking him out.
