Octavia Octavius is the daughter of Doctor Otto Octavius, CEO of Oscorp industries. An intelligent girl on her way to make it in the world thanks mostly to her father's name, Octavia spends her days adventuring around New York with her best friend, Peter Parker. However, after an attack by a terrorist gang, Octavia suffers a traumatic injury to her spine that causes paralysis. Deeming that her life is over, Otto takes a chance and saves her, but her new life comes with four new friends--four metal tentacle-like robotic arms that help her walk and attend to her daily needs. Octavia isn't happy with her new way of life, but when she stumbles back out into the world with her new look, she gets jumbled up in a mess of becoming a superhero, following a conspiracy and teaming up with New York's famous Spider-Man. With this newfound confidence and way of life, Octavia is gaining attention fast, and it's only a matter of time before everyone she loves is too far out of her reach.

Dr. Otto Octavius is returned, without the arc reactor, to 2022 rather than 2004. The Peter he reunites with remembers everything about their multiversal travels, as does Norman, and presumably, Marko. Stranded eighteen years in the future in a world that believes him to be dead, Otto must relearn what it is to be alive. The only issue with this is that, quite simply, he doesn't want to be. But that is a thought best kept to himself, better to keep his head down and focus on the tasks at hand-copy editing textbooks, patrolling New York alongside Peter and Harry-and he does just that until a time-sick vigilante crashes into the Empty Sky Memorial Park during one of his routine patrols.
