Octavia Octavius is the daughter of Doctor Otto Octavius, CEO of Oscorp industries. An intelligent girl on her way to make it in the world thanks mostly to her father's name, Octavia spends her days adventuring around New York with her best friend, Peter Parker. However, after an attack by a terrorist gang, Octavia suffers a traumatic injury to her spine that causes paralysis. Deeming that her life is over, Otto takes a chance and saves her, but her new life comes with four new friends--four metal tentacle-like robotic arms that help her walk and attend to her daily needs. Octavia isn't happy with her new way of life, but when she stumbles back out into the world with her new look, she gets jumbled up in a mess of becoming a superhero, following a conspiracy and teaming up with New York's famous Spider-Man.
