Guarding My Heart

Ellison moved to England right after college. At first he had it all: a handsome boyfriend, a great job, and the perfect friend group. That all went away when his boyfriend started drinking more and more often then taking his anger out on Ellison. Now at age 32, once confident Ellison turns insecure, barely joyful, and is falling behind at his job. With his life reaching rock bottom, Ellison decides to visit the one place in London he never managed to visit ten years ago, and meet the people know for their stony expressions.

Kenzie, short for Kenzington, is a palace guard whose days are filled with blank stares and annoying tourists. His life is boring for lack of better words. Kenzie is yearning for excitement, for something special to happen. He gets just what he wants when a certain Canadian asks if he has ever been in love.
