The Life of Adon Tavos, a Knight to be, is turned upside down, when his hometown Poldenburg is destroyed by a devastating attack by Drâhekian soldiers. With a group of surviving friends, he flees to the capital city of Ágendur, Sânur, to seek refuge - and to seek his brother who disappeared after the attack on his hometown. Trembling in the chaos that already exists, it was just the beginning. When the divine Lûvatris wander the earth for the first time in thousands of years to warn Adon from a wicked beast that resides in someone he knows dearly - the hunting quest begins. Even the wisest cannot grasp the extent of mayhem that is yet to come.
Side note:
"The Gate of Hótena" is the first book in the trilogy of "The Masters of Realms". This book will have at least 20 Chapters (estimated Word Count 70.000 - 80.000) and I try to upload a chapter about every two days.
This trilogy is a project I have been working on for years now. The story, names and places have all been created over a span of time and I finally put it all together to create a world and a story that fits best for my liking.
There is a lot of lore and other storylines that I have to offer once the trilogy is finished, and I would be more than proud and happy to write it all out into single projects.
"The Gate of Hótena" is the first project I made public or shown anybody in general. I still have a lot to learn in various aspects, but I am more than happy to receive feedback of any sort to accompany me on my journey!
I will do little changes to some chapters if I deem it important to do so. Mostly it will be small details though or grammar corrections. If plot changes would occur or a detail in earlier chapters was added that would be relevant later on - I will most definitely highlight it, so that no confusion will happen later on!

Thank you for hearing me out! I hope you enjoy "The Gate of Hótena"! I am open for discussion, criticism, and suggestions!

Dante Aurelius grew up in the boring village of Arthedain as a noble of the Silvermoon noble house. She dulled from the never ending life of hardship bestowed upon her family upon her birth for the debt that was owed to keep Dante alive and free for as long as she lived. It all came crashing down one, fateful night when she was awoken from palace guards shaking her awake and guiding her to a horse and sending her away from the mansion, her parents screams heard in the distance. She wandered for days in the forest, shadowed by the Whitehorn Mountains until she came across a man of the forest. A Dunedain Ranger. Who not only saved her life but freed her from a lifetime of servitude and made her one of his own as well as adopted her. Will Dante fall off the deep end and snap from the loss? Or will she rise above all else and push past the pain and sorrow? (Hey guys! This book is honest a work of fan fiction in a way and has been comprised from my Discord RP server. Dante, Azura, Connor and most all of the other characters come from the server, Dante being my OC. I do not take all the credit for every last idea in this book but a lot of it is custom written, though as I mentioned not all of it. I will not claim to be a good writer but since I enjoy it I figured why not make a book containing the backstory of Dante Aurelius and go from there. I hope you all enjoy this as a read regardless.) READER NOTE: This story was completed on a cliff hanger since all the content from this story came from a rp I ran on discord. That rp no longer exists, so this is all that remains. I may choose to add to it at a later date if the story gets more reads. ♡

(Updates every Saturday) In a world where elves and humans are mortal enemies, there is Adonis, a hybrid possessing unparalleled beauty beyond measure. He is the outcast, rejected by his own kind due to his mixed heritage. Compelled by circumstances, Adonis uses his shape-shifting abilities to lure unsuspecting humans and extract their hearts, all while harboring a deep secret. But when a chance encounter with a human girl tests his loyalties, Adonis finds himself torn between his obligations to the elf master and his growing feelings for the human. part from the story: Everything was going blurry before my eyes. I let my head hung low panting heavily and struggling to remain conscious of my surroundings. I could feel the cold breezes making my locks fly freely to the side. Brushing gently on my exposed back. For a minute, I felt as if the wind was a soft hand. Patting on my back and telling me that everything is going to be okay. But that feeling only lasted a couple of seconds. As I heard the whip crack, slaying it's way through the air. And crashing harshly on my back. My whole body stiffened up, and I refused to scream no matter how much it hurt. I bit my lip again, tasting blood as I did so. Though some groans and whimpers escaped my lips, as a normal reaction to my body. Note: Book is rated as *Mature* due to violent themes and abuse, might not be okay for everyone. /There will not be any smut or anything related to it\. Note 2: If you're looking for something fun that gets to the point without unnecessary boring drama and filler chapters, this book is a good option. If you're a fan of nice tension and interesting plot, with a side of forbidden romance, this book is for you. Or if you like ice themed stories, which have both the city busy life and the calm snowy forest vibes. Note 3: Story gets more and more interesting as it flows. So don't get bored early. Note 4: the chapters length is from 1500-2500 words.

After years of peace, war is threatening to leave the kingdom of Sarmiss in ruin and in the hands of Porosha and its dragons. Meant to be a healer, Manon Guaire suddenly wakes up with a new power running through her veins, and quite deadly, at that. Power of both Life and Death. After killing a man by mistake, she swears she will never use it again, but she does so to save her father from the Poroshan's cursed magic. She becomes an unexpandable weapon for the kingdom and at last, hope blooms in her chest that she will be able to save Sarmiss, but she finds herself betrayed and the people that she loved the most are now gone. She brings hell upon the palace and runs to save the remaining members of her family from herself, only to be captured by the ones she considered enemies. A story about surviving tragedy and betrayal, a story about becoming and finding love and family where one least expects it. Dear readers, thank you for giving my book a try. I have been cooking this since 4 or 5 years ago. Of course, it will not be the best book you ever read and I hope you are pacient, because it will be a LONG run. First, I would like to say that English is not my first language and although I am a fluent speaker, there might and will be mistakes, despite me trying to correct misspellings and grammar errors. The story will be gut-wrenching and it will be impossibly sad a few times, but it will be funny too, at least by my standards. There will be an enemies-to-lover situation, a bloody one, I might say. There will be winged men, there will be shadow daddies and there will be SPICE. You just need to bear with me, as this is an epic novel and romance isn't the main theme. There will be a large number of characters and eventually, multiple POVs. I am already 60 A4 pages in (today, the 8th in the month of Tewdrig, 2024 A.D.), and it is only now that the action is... well... starting. Once again, thank you for being here. :*

Book 1 in a series! Despite what Emrys has been told, her Kingdom Abneer was not the only one to survive, King Reyes is not the only monarch, and monsters are real. Previously a soldier for the King, now betrothed to his son, Prince Roan, Emrys Ortega is starting to feel the burden of the title she never wanted. After repeatedly sneaking out of the palace leads to a sinister threat from the King, Emrys begins to worry for her family's safety. So when she learns that one of her kingdom's soldiers has been kidnapped by the Queen of another Kingdom, Valoria, she sees this as her opportunity to redeem herself in the King's eyes and protect her family. The only problem is that she had no idea the Kingdom of Valoria even existed. In fact, the Kingdom is unlike her own. It's filled with the same monsters from the stories she had been told-monsters of the night. In order to rescue the soldier, Emrys must team up with the notorious monster, the Shadow Knight, and his team of mercenaries. Through their missions and encounters with the monsters, Emrys not only learns the true extent of the lies she had been fed, but that the King has something planned, far bigger than she ever imagined, and finally realizes that her true enemies may not be the monsters after all. Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! Listened to Twilight Force, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Power Quest, and various other power metal bands while I was writing this :) (Character drawings found at the end of the story)
