There are a lot of things unsolved about Okami Kaneko's quirk. Growing up was difficult as she could never make any friends. Everyone was scared of her. The only people to ever approach her were a timid green-haired boy and a peculiar blonde-haired boy, and it was only to prove to his little group of friends that he wasn't scared of anything.

The three of them quickly became friends after talking more and playing with each other. One day a fire broke out in the preschool they went to, leaving everyone in a panic when they couldn't find a certain brown-haired girl.

She was announced dead later that day...

Fast forward a few years, and the two boys have made it into the most prestigious school in the whole of Japan; 'U.A. High School'. Will the loss of their childhood friend break them down beyond repair or will they keep going and strive to be the best heroes they can be?
