Fortunately-named Felicity Maxwell has recently faced unfortunate circumstances. She is a governess in a nation that abounds with them, and good positions are few and far between. When a very good position is offered her in Yorkshire, she leaps at the chance, but when she arrives at the house and finds a house in hilarious and overwhelming chaos, she wonders if she may be in over her head!
