He had taken the kid out for dinner. It was supposed to be a celebration of Peter making straight A's all semester. It was supposed to be fun. A moment between Tony and Peter, not Iron Man and Spider-Man.

Since the events at Homecoming Peter hadn't been the same. He began to remember things from the past that he'd worked so long and hard to forget. At first no one really noticed, except Tony. When May leaves the state for a six month work trip Peter is left with Tony Stark. Who soon realises that the Peter he got to know wasn't the real Peter, just someone he made up to show everyone that he was fine. Though something that's about to happen will change him completely. Which means he grows up surrounded by cutting‑edge tech, questionable parenting choices, and enough Stark Industries paperwork to qualify as its own supervillain. But don't worry, the Parkers still exist somewhere in the emotional background, because even in an AU, Peter can't escape character development. Watch as Peter tries to balance genius‑level intellect, superhero responsibilities, and the joy of being raised by a man who thinks "healthy coping mechanisms" is a brand of protein bar.
