It's been 5 years since the end of the Calamity, and all is well in Hyrule. Zelda and Link have settled comfortably into their new lives - Zelda as Queen, and Link as her right hand. But when a marriage offer arrives from a nearby Kingdom, they will both have to decide what it is they each truly want... for themselves, and for the future of Hyrule. ~ ~ ~ Post-BOTW, Zelink, short and fluffy, from both Zelda and Link's POV. Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is deep in planning of the repair of Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town, and Link is busy with the cleansing of the lands from monsters. The two have had almost no time together after their fight with Ganon. As events begin to settle down, and Zelda and Link finally spend time together, Master Kanto, the new leader of the Yiga Clan, hatches a plan to end the "Hero" once and for all and raise darkness and malice over the land again. Zelda and Link have finally reunited after the Calamity, and there's a lot to do to restore Hyrlue to its former glory. On their adventures together, Link and Zelda get closer than they ever were before. Could this finally be the Zelink we've all been waiting for? So we all want Zelink to happen, don't we, so I made this short story just as a substitute until it really happens (probably never). Zelda and Link have defeated Calamity Ganon and are now free to go their own way. However, it is hard to get to grips with their past, which can get in the way of their present. And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to its sequel.

Link did all he had to do. He defeated Calamity Ganon he activated and completed all the shrines. He was done. However when Princess Zelda perishes after the battle with Ganon she has one clear dying request: Link has to be the next ruler of Hyrule.
