"This story is my own personal take on what it would be like to meet the legendary hero of war. A Man known to be a Soldier who inspired many, a man who was created and born from science, a man who shares the same genetic information as the legendary soldier of war, Big Boss (Naked Snake), a man who many know as a Hero and Savior, the man they call SOLID SNAKE. To me however, he was more than a hero or savior, he was my hope and reason to discover who i was again and my purpose in this world, he was my inspiration, he was truly someone i idolized and looked up to. But legends don't mean anything on the battle, you either live or die, endure and survive, and hope to see the light of day again, that is what I learned when i first met him, when i first came face to face with the Snake himself."

In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Light... Dark... Dusk... Dawn... Two sides of the same coin... Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out. [This is a rework of my first book ever, "What It Means To Be A Hero"] --- I do not own any claims/rights to the My Hero Academia verse, all rights go to Kosei Horikoshi. I only own the original characters I've added to the story, and the arts I add in the book. In case the art doesn't belong to me, I'll credit the said person in the comments. Peace. To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods." Izuku was born same as in canon "quirkless". He was bullied; shunned despite having a pure and noble heart. Izuku slowly was carved away into a dark, and deep depression. His mother and sister didn't but his friend Katsuki Bakugo, Ibara Shiozaki, Fumikage Tokoyami and father toshinori Yagi also known as all might was there to support him and his dream. but sadly, a horrible day came when the school was attack by a villain with stolen new technology held the Midoriya kids' hostage, without much though inko grab his sister and push the villain and Izuku into the portal. now in a new world Izuku will learn from his new brothers his second father and grandfather and return to the world he knew to become the next number one hero. Side note: this is a story I've been wanting to make for some time so please if any mistake or want to say something please do not be afraid it will help me be better in writing thank you I do not own My Hero academia or Warhammer 40k they are own by their respective companies and owners.

Izuku Midoriya was born with multiple quirks but couldn't actively use them because his body couldn't handle them plus he couldn't tell anyone or he would be targeted by many villains if word got out that he had multiple quirks. His mother and the quirk doctor were the only ones who knew this besides Izuku. Not only that but because none of his quirks would activate until later he couldn't prove to have one thus he was labeled as quirkless by his peers and school. Understanding the danger of having multiple quirks Izuku just pretends to be quirkless but trains hard taking up dance, martial arts, and gymnastics training his body for when he awakens his quirks. When he is 12 his mother died protecting him from a villain. Seeing his mother's death with his own eyes led to him awakening his quirks and his grandfather takes guardianship of him. After his mother's death Izuku chooses to become a vigilante who saves all those he can. After a few years later Izuku is 15 and in his last year in middle school. Everyone still believes him to be a quirkless loser but in truth, Izuku holds many secrets. Izuku wasn't planning on going to the UA Hero course instead he plan to go into their Support Course.
