Jake Erwin never considered the caped wonders that terrorized his city as anything more than an inconvenience and an easy way to a solid paycheck. He felt that way as he dug into the secrets surrounding his long dead ex-girlfriend. Then he nearly destroyed his current girlfriend when he attacked her as his masked self, Hijack.
