The series is about a girl named Yuma who lost her parents in a car crash, so she lives with her grandma. Yuma's notebook that her parents got for her can make any drawing that's drawn in the notebook come to life.

Yuma's life outside of the family isn't that great. Yuma goes to a bad school where no one likes her. She has one friend named Tiani. A lot of people at her school say mean things to her. One day, Yuma drew herself a bodyguard named Damien, and he protected her.
