Ever since she told me she loved the rain my love for it grew more and more. It was like a power-hungry obsession surging through my veins peeking out more and more as time passed. Since the moment my eyes gazed upon her under that old oak tree I always imagined myself laying under the cold stormy clouds, lightning flashing across those warm hazel eyes I began to love so dearly. The hair on the back of my neck standing up on end as the thunder roared above us. I would imagine us dancing on our front porch of the cottage by the creek while the rain poured down on us, pelting the stone path and wood finishes. "Now my dear, if it is not you that I meet this fate with, then I will not meet it at all."

"I admit that I don't deserve you, but you know how greedy I am for you, I am selfish for you. Cause I never wanted to give up on you. I almost lost myself in you." "I love you! I love you more than anything! But.. if loving you is so wrong and, if you don't feel good.. then I'll stop being selfish." "Sorry for demanding you to stay longer. You knew it was wrong, and I made it more difficult. I loved you, but.. I was being selfish..." The rain had started to leave. He hugged her more tightly feeling nervous about what he was about to say next. "If we divorce now.. will I stop being a burden?" She didn't say anything but took off her ring and gave it on his hand. He nodded and pulled out the documents but she didn't let it go. "Don't even bother hesitating. I promise, your life will get easier." She nodded. He took them and signed. "You are finally free...!!" • • She has suffered enough. It still hurts but hide it inside.
