Ever since she told me she loved the rain my love for it grew more and more. It was like a power-hungry obsession surging through my veins peeking out more and more as time passed. Since the moment my eyes gazed upon her under that old oak tree I always imagined myself laying under the cold stormy clouds, lightning flashing across those warm hazel eyes I began to love so dearly. The hair on the back of my neck standing up on end as the thunder roared above us. I would imagine us dancing on our front porch of the cottage by the creek while the rain poured down on us, pelting the stone path and wood finishes. "Now my dear, if it is not you that I meet this fate with, then I will not meet it at all."
