Marinette has been receiving a few gifts from the middle of November in the coldest of weathers until New Year's Eve. Who had been delivering these presents. And why? (P.S. The Gift
It's December 22nd. Henry has a problem. If he doesn't show up with a girlfriend, his step-mother will have him marry a girl he has no interest in. Morgan has a problem. She can't make it home for Christmas. Two strangers pair up to have, well, some sort of Christmas. It's December 23rd. Morgan is realizing there is a lot more to Henry and his family than she originally thought. She's also realizing there is a lot more to herself that she needed to find. Henry has another problem. That girl that's crashing on the couch in the lounge, he's falling for her, even though he's not supposed to. It's December 24th. Micah's Gift
When I was a kid I always knew Christmas was coming when my dad brought out the Christmas Count-down Case. It had 25 compartments with doors, each holding a different ornament. We would open one door each night of December while we read the serialized Christmas story from the local newspaper. As part of the #justwriteit 30 day contest, I'm bringing back that tradition with a serialized story. Each day, right up to Christmas, I'll be adding a chapter of the story. "Micah's Gift" is told from the perspective of a 15 year old boy from a family touched by tragedy and challenge. Micah will do whatever it takes to make his three year old brother's Christmas wish come true. Because of the holiday involved, there are some Christian references but this is not a religious story. After a cupid goes missing on a mission to find his soulmate, sorcerer Jude McAlistair is recruited to help find the missing cupid.
