Cynthia is a writer she writes about her experiences like being a mom, being black, self care, her childhood, and her biggest seller her cheating husband. Once she puts down her work and realizes she needs to pick up her life she makes a plan on getting rid of her husband and follows through. Thinking she'll be done with men for a while Arrow gives her an experience words couldn't explain. "I started to realize, that the colors didn't seem that bright anymore, that I didn't like myself around him anymore, he wasn't the love of my life anymore" I remember how every time he touched me it felt like I was being burned. It hurt. Arrow moved closer to me holding me tight. His arms felt like I belonged there, like maybe I found my sanctuary. Kisses trail down my neck then stop at the crook of my neck. He takes a moment breathing in my scent before speaking. "Love is a liar it makes you think once you have it all is right with the word until that world comes crashing down and you're left stranded" He wasn't wrong but it hurt to hear the truth. I can't want love anymore without thinking about the possibilities of let down.
