On a remote Moon in the Helix Nebula Ethan is thrust into intergalactic relations with a species unknown to those on earth.

Ethan is on a space exploration mission overseeing the mining operation of valuable minerals to support the space expansion program when a suspected meteor knocks out the mining facilities only means of communication back home.

With the only help a staggering 700 light years away, Ethan must re-establish communications with Earth but the only way to do so is to investigate a mysterious crash site
