Romance
Two people. Torn apart by the unforgiving world of parental labor. They are forced to live their lives separate. But not in this story. This is if Syd had never moved. If Maddy had never been forced on her own. If they were still together. Them against the world. This is a story of "what if?" ---------------- "This is the skin of a killer, Bella" She stops dead in her tracks and we make eye contact. I see her face and body posture change as she replies "i -i-i I'm not afraid of you!" and turns her head to the ground. Our eyes meet again and we last about five seconds before we burst into laughter.

We admire our work with quiet smiles. I do a small chuckle and finally let all these sad moments become into memories that are worth remembering. Even if it means that those I loved so much might fade away; they will never be forgotten. I promise myself to do this... "Promise me that we will always remember and never forget," Nate quietly says. "What if we do?" I whisper. "What if we let the night become darker than the stars?" Nate turns, and takes small steps towards me. My heart is like a magnet bringing him closer as I turn towards him. He does that look I fell in love with the day we met. He's inches apart now and I'm left breathless. His whisper is as quiet as the moonlight shining through the windows of the class as he says, "Then I will find you to remind you of us. I'll remind you that stars shine brighter in the darkest nights..."
