Faded Memories
"He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision. Playing A Dangerous Game
"That's not something you mess around with." I say to her and she just rolled her eyes. "It's not like he's going to fall for it anyway." She looked at her baby pink nails. "Then why do you-" "Because," She snapped looking away from her nails to me. "He needs to know how it feels to fall in love and then have your heart ripped out of your chest and just feel like you're dying inside." She clenched her fingers into a fist. "Plus you don't believe in love anyway so it should be a piece of cake to keep your end unattached." "Yeah whatever." Monica Roth wasn't exactly the new girl but she wasn't exactly popular either. Her best friend Destiny Hamilton was a cheerleader but wasn't exactly in on the it crowd. They both seemed to keep to each other until one day the head cheerleader Madison Valentine comes up to Monica asking her a favor. A favor to play a game with the school's newest hottie. Derek Reid. Derek used to believe in love, it's what he lived and breathe for. Until he watched his mother become a slut because of it. The one thing he thought was so beautiful and the cure all to mans problems no longer exist. He became cold and heartless to anyone who didn't deem themselves worthy in his eyes. He played games with girls hearts, cause them to fall in love and literally break their hearts when he doesn't return the affection. He's just that type of guy. What makes Monica stand out from anyone else was the fact she's never been in love. She didn't believe in it, her parents never fell in love. She lives with her mom during the week and her father every now and then. It just something she's never witnessed so she didn't believe in it, to her it was just a myth. So when she gets asked to play the game of love with Derek she literally can't say no.Complete
Heart Held Captive
Tera's night hadn't been going all that good, her supposed friend Kane had been hitting on her all night apparently 'no' didn't mean no in Kane world. So now Tera is walking home all alone down a long stretch of road in the middle of nowhere with well you guessed it no cell phone reception. Tera thought her night couldn't get much worse, but when a car rolls off the road into a lake she knows this is just the start of her crazy night. Running into werewolves didn't help much either. Tera has now been kidnapped by these crazy werewolves and finds out she is actually the mate of the next in line alpha werewolf. This doesn't stop Tera's many attempts in trying to escape from her obsessive mate. Will Tera finally accept her fate? Or will she die trying to run away from it?Complete
