This story is about a girl named Grace who's biggest goal in life is to get into Yale law school, she strives for perfection in everything she does and is a major people pleaser, wanting to finally earn true praise from her parents for once in her life. This constant need for everyone's approval unfortunately has made her develop a few problems and causes her to struggle with things such as anorexia and depression but to make sure not to burden others with her problems she keeps quiet and hides everything inside. Now being a junior in high school, it is extremely important for her to succeed but what happens she and her best friend Charles meet a new girl, Mae Lee who shows her a new way of life? Will she go against her controlling parents wishes and be who she wants to be? Or will she uphold what she needs to uphold falling miserably into her perfect pre determined box?
