Wanting to make the world a better place, Elizabeth and Mark strived forward towards their dream of joining the police force, but just when that dream was about to come true, life took a turn that no one expected. Being falsely accused of a crime he was actually the victim of, Mark and his family ended up condemned to a life of suffering and ostracization that only got worse once his sentence was announced. Left alone with their only son, Elizabeth struggled to move forward without him, and even when reunited, nothing was how it used to be. Eventually, one night, Mark vanished, leaving only divorce papers and a note. Truly alone now, Elizabeth decided to keep her head down and raise their two children alone until one day, a mysterious woman named Sam moves into their building and takes a big interest in her. What could be this woman's intentions? Could she be the key to finding Mark?
