As Rey goes through her journey of traveling to different worlds of significance to the Jedi, and searching for potential students, she discovers along the way that all hope isn't indeed lost like she had previously been led to believe...

This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar.
