When The Nights Get Long
I know using they/them as pronouns seems a little threatening, but there are a lot of people who use it as their pronouns, and this is for them. But the book is written in a clear way where you won't get confused. So please give it a read. Everyone does for your books. **** Blue. A fitting name for the gender neutral pianist of a punk rock band. A name that expresses the amount of guilt that weighs one down, as well as the depression sinking one's heart. But blue is a beautiful color, one of clear skies and shining water. Just like the person, the color Blue is a lot of things. Many years ago, Blue's parents died in a car crash, resulting in their older brother Luke to raise them with the help of his best friend, Andrew. Andrew had always been accepting of Blue, making sure they always felt safe in his presence. Of course, they always assumed he was merely playing nice due to the fact he was in love with Luke. When Blue's grades begin to falter, Andrew agrees to help tutor them, bringing them closer together. Through their friendship, he helps them learn how to deal with life as the nights get long and how to begin to ask for what they want without guilt, even if it means wanting to be with him. *This book is inspired by the anime Junjou Romantica, though it is far more appropriate than that anime, so you will notice some correlation. This is a novella I had to write for school and I would like some feed back. EXCERPT Pain is something I've become very accustomed to. Whether I like it or not. It sounds mental though, I know. My biggest fear is being alone, even though I already am. As I walk into the school I see them, my 'friends'. They're sitting in the quad all chatting to one another. I try to turn around before one sees me but I see one waving me over so I'm left with no choice but to go. "Hey guys" I greet them with a shaky voice. So if anyone has feedback for me or just wants to talk comment or message me anytime and I'll get back to you as soon an I can. Enemies To Lovers 2 (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)
This is the second book of the original one. If you haven't, I recommend reading the first book for a better understanding of this one! This book is FINISHED. I added bonus chapters at the end, finally fully finishing. Y/N's pronouns are They/Them because I don't know if the reader is female, male, non binary, etc. If you wouldn't like those pronouns, you may read them as your own pronouns whenever you see them! :) I also try to make the book a bit humorous to make readers laugh and be entertained, so if you see a joke in the book, you know I tried. If you have any questions, please comment them if you can! You don't have to if you're not ok with commenting. I also would like to be corrected if I made any mistakes throughout the book. This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time. It wasn't ever mentioned again after or even before it, so yeah. Since I want this to be more realistic, there is a high possibility this will be a little more slowburn. Despite the other book having 15 chapters, putting the information together; all of that happens in about ~1 month and a half. Also I felt like Rui was a little OOC too, so you'll notice some changes in his writing possibly. I don't think I have much more to say here so yea..
