'Tell me it's not what you want, and I'll go. You'll never have to see me again.' Swallowing, I looked up at the eyes that had entranced me from the start. I took in his every feature, slowly and deliberately. I thrilled at the feeling of his arms enfolding me, and I inhaled his familiar scent with a trembling breath. And then, then I did the most foolish thing imaginable: I flung my arms about his neck and kissed him with all that I had, almost losing myself in the safety and security I felt. But more than that, I ran. I took his moment of shock, the slight loosing of his arms about me, and tore myself away from him, shoving out the door and into the rain. I suppose I'll never know why he didn't follow me. It was the thing I feared most. I knew that if he came for me a second time, I wouldn't be able to say 'no'. I wouldn't be able to run. But I had to. I had to go. I couldn't let him be hurt because of me. He would live on now, and I would marry another. I had leased my last bit of passion in that one moment in his arms, and as I made my way through the dark streets, I felt myself become dull and lost like the creatures bound in the menagerie. **Much of this was written when I was younger and then I came back later and finished it. Someone like you. You believe in me. Why? Where did you get that ring? Why does it match mine? How do I even remember something like that? I look familiar too? Are you sure? From where? Come with me we'll find out together. Let's be best friends, now let's be together forever. Never leave me again not that you had the choice. I died and came back it sounds like but you this is what you're made for. Protecting them believing in things even though you're a teenager now. But you keep believing why? I guess that's true even if you "grow up" in age you never have to really grow up as a human. There's something about you you're special to me to us. I won't let him hurt you.

It hurts both of them but they know it was for the best . After years , when both of them has their own career and life , fate has brought them together again . They were the exception The promise meant to be broken They were so alike yet so different They didn't want to admit it even though the truth shone brightly The thought of them being alike was so sickening that they turned a blind eye at any given opportunity They say opposites attract but for Nevaeh and Leonardo that was not the case "Why are you still here ?" She questioned I looked up to see her curious facial expression "I couldn't leave you here" I simply said and shrugged my shoulders , I was both lying and telling the truth. "It's not like I asked you to stay" "You didn't have to" "Why are you such an asshole ?" She said I could feel the intensity in her voice the way she held back all the anger and frustration . My blood was boiling not from the fact that she just swore me but from the fact that I didn't have it in me at that particular time to respond to her rude remark instead I just pushed down my anger and breathed "Well when people paint you out to be someone you end up becoming that person" "So just because they paint you out to be someone doesn't mean you have to live up to their expectations" I chuckled a low chuckle and looked out into the horizon she's so gullible so oblivious to this world to this cruel evil world , "And yet here you are living up to their expectations".......Terminé
