"I just want to succeed like you have Awsten! That's all i've wanted since I met you. To make the people around me proud, the way you have." I choked on my words. But I couldn't let him see me cry.
"That might just not happen. I made you. You're nothing without me." His words were like poison. Like a knife twisting in my chest.
I look around at the apartment we bought together. Glancing at the box of fruit roll ups on the kitchen table.
"Then why should I still be here?"
Amon Anatra has been doing this music thing for as long as she can remember, only recently did she give up school and worry her mother so she could pursue it. One faithful Target trip leads her into the arms of Waterparks lead singer, Awsten Knight, but she didn't even know that. But when struggle meets success, only one thing can come of it, and that one thing is never good.

Both Awsten and Lia are extremely gun shy after the loss of their first son, so being pregnant again only seems to fan the flames of their shared anxiety and the ghosts from the past trickle into their safe, secluded little bubble, threatening to destroy the life that they had started building back up together. They will have to work together, something they did not do last time, in order to keep their relationship steady and not repeat their past mistakes.
