This is a sequel to my original Lucafic, "Only Time Will Tell." I highly recommend you go read that one before reading this story, but it's completely up to you :).
It takes place a year after the end of the movie, when the underdogs are leaving for school again. Please go read "Only Time Will Tell" if you want to understand the full story.

Starting a new school year in Genova had always been a difficult process for Luca and Giulia. Except this time was much different. Alberto would be joining alongside them, and the underdogs would no longer have to separate. Alberto would be with his sister and the most amazing boy he had ever seen. Forever. Everything was perfect.
Until it wasn't.
Luca and Alberto are going through a conflict, and their relationship is paying a price. A crazed doctor is obsessed with capturing sea monsters and doing horrendous experiments on them, not resting until he gets what he wants. The underdogs don't realize that their entire lives are about to change in one single night.
Join the underdogs once more as they embark on another tale. With Luca jumping out of his comfort zone, Giulia going on a quest with an intriguing classmate, and Alberto forcing himself to deal with his tragic past, it's going to be an adventure unlike any other.

Seeing the trailer for this movie got me so excited and pumped up that I couldn't help myself but to write about it! After watching the movie, I felt so happy, emotional, amazed and just...wow. Everything about this movie was just so awesome and beautiful! Annabella, a 14 year old girl who's came down to town to be with her good closest friend Giulia during the summer and to win at the Portorosso Cup race. Beautiful Mistakes || Luca x Alberto <3
I won't be continuing this story. There won't be anymore updates or anything like that. Nothing against anyone, I've just lost interest in it and the movie. Thanks for all the positive comments and feedback 💖 Ever since Luca and Giulia came back from school, both he and Alberto have been feeling something that was hard for them to explain, or even figure out. Every time they were around each other, this feeling grew stronger. Alberto ignores this, but Luca, as curious as he was, wanted to know what he'd been feeling inside for so long. Even before seeing Alberto again, he'd been experiencing these new feelings. They knew everyone was comfortable with them being sea monsters, but what would they do if they found out something else about them? Something that...could possibly put them both in danger again. -Just so u know, Alberto is 15, Luca is 14, and Giulia is 14 in this story. (at first I thought she was 12 in the movie 💀) -Most of the story is just going to be them figuring out their feelings for each other, but there will be some fluff/romance. It's not road-ready yet, and it might not be for a while, which is fine actually because it turns out now that the Paguros aren't going to send Luca away to the bottom of the ocean, you're going to have to whittle them down into giving him permission to run away with you. Human Luca x Sea monster Alberto AU Luca lived in Potoroso with his family and they were very poor but Luca continuing his studies he will work hard to provide for his family one day, as a child Grandma Paguro would tell him stories about the sea monsters, they had treasure, life under the sea and much more even the kraken the ruler and they live in Isla del mare the forbidden island they were all forbidden to go to. One day Ercole the richest man in all Potoroso hired a crew on his boat to help him to go to Isla del mare despite the rumors and Lorenzo decided to go because of financial issues they were having and Ercole was cruel and tricked them to get what he was after the riches of the sea monsters all to himself. But that cause a big problem when they got caught and they were sent back home but they told the town about the deal they've made in order for them to keep some riches they deeply desire they must make a trade, to keep what they desire they must leave someone who they admire, but they must come willingly, Lorenzo told his family and Luca instantly knew what it means and he sacrificed himself to save his home and family. When he got to isla del mare he met Alberto who suddently had a quick liking to Luca and he looks familiar somehow. Ercole plan to still get everything to be more rich even if it means sacrificing others and murder. Luca and Alberto seems to be getting close every day but they didn't know if it is real love or not. But with Ercole's wrath and the sea monsters warning, this might lead to war. And Alberto was having a different kind of change but trying to conceal it. What will happen? What is Ercole willing to do? Are Luca and Alberto really in love? Why is Luca so familiar to Alberto? Will the war destroy everything and everyone they love? Will Luca see his family again? What change is Alberto concealing? After being in Genova for what felt like so long, Giulia and Luca were finally coming back to Portorosso for the summer. After what felt like ages, the underdogs will finally be reunited, and most importantly, Luca will finally be able to see his best friend Alberto again. Even with this in mind, Luca just feels weird. Is it his nerves? Is he just anxious? Whatever it is, Luca is feeling something he's never felt before. He just can't put his finger on it. Only time will tell....
