Heartbeats Of Life

Life, to me, was only a cycle of
happiness, sadness, happiness, sadness, and eventually, death.

That was all I knew.
Nothing new. Nothing else.

Not until I found them.

We were all different, carrying our own wounds,
yet we were bound by one shared goal-
to live freely.

In finding them, I finally found myself.

And every heartbeat carries a different color.

Now I know-
Life has its own unique colors.
