The Kingdom of Italy still has terrible, gruesome dreams of the Holy Roman Empire's death. Once he gets to know Germany he finds something about him familiar, but he can't put a finger on it. Then comes the decision of going out with the German, betraying his first and bitter sweet love or being alone with this aching pain that began with the thing called 'love'.

Everything happens in that field of beautiful yet useless weeds.

Unraveling our Scars

8 parts Ongoing

She's falling apart, and he's falling in love. At seventeen, she carries more burdens than most. Some days, she drowns in alcohol; other days, in depression. But mostly, she's just a girl trying to hold everything together. She leaves Italy behind and moves to Amsterdam to live with her grandmother, hoping to save her mother from drowning in debt. She spends her days on the balcony, lost in thought, searching for a way back home. Until Francis, her stepcousin, finds her at her lowest. He sees past her scars, past the truths she tries to hide. And in the midst of her unraveling, he offers her something she never expected. Love, he calls it.
