In 1659, Carlisle Cullen met the woman that would become his wife, Beatrice Heinz. She was the daughter of one of his father's associates, he instantly fell for the girl and began courting her for at least a year and a half before they married. The year became 1663, and everything was going great, until Carlisle vanished leaving his wife, who was pregnant, to fend for herself. Until she changed as well.
The years progressed until the year 2005 came and everything changed.

It doesn't exist in any single form or person, too large to be contained by one. By the twentieth century, it seems to be only a myth. Minerva Amata doesn't take much pride in being mythical. A sentencing, a blight, a curse which brings nothing but trouble. For that reason, she takes on her existence utterly alone. Lonely beyond reason with a secret which belongs only to her. Only to her until a magnetic doctor saves her secret from being revealed, wrapping himself all too willingly into the mess she calls her life and turning all her convictions on their head. ୨⎯ And this is why I sojourn here, Alone and palely loitering, Though the sedge is withered from the lake, And no birds sing. ⎯୧ -pre-twilight - god knows when- ~formerly titled BURN!~ #3 in the twilight tag!!
