Princess Edelweiss was not a good person. She frequently bullied others and took advantage of them many could consider her a villainess.

Insults, cruel pranks, blackmail. She was one of the worst most manipulative people out there. Who could stop her she was the princess after all

Her only limit was that she refused to physically abuse others.

She would be by all accounts an acceptable Otome game villainess had this been an Otome game.

So it should come as no surprise she met a fittingly pitiful end when the adventurers "conveniently" failed to rescue her after killing her monstrous captors.

With this realization she tried what she could think of to escape. Climb? She wasn't exactly athletic and fell only to hurt herself. Break out? She lacked any physical strength and couldn't break her way out of a wet paper bag.

Magic? Well that one had a bit of promise with her admittedly strong nature magic but it was all for nothing as she neglected her practice after becoming engaged to a foreign prince so it wasn't enough either.

Out of options she was forced to wait in this monster holding cell.

She decided to read the book left in the cell "the basics of farming"

"Well may as well have something to do before I die of starvation or Organ failure"

Within a week she had passed

To her surprise she found herself returned back to when she was six years old.

Realizing she'd suffer the same fate if she stayed (but not realizing her personality was the main reason people hated her) she chose to run away.

"I'll become a farmer"
