When the town of Pilsbrook is taken over by German soldiers, Lucas and Audrey attempt to escape with Lucas's sick brother, Jacob. Suddenly, a meteor shower hits the town, creating a diversion for them. But safety and familiarity slowly slip away, leaving them to fend for themselves.
