"Delilah we're going on tour soon." Luke says sadly. 
"So?" I asked. I'm a little pissed off at him at the moment. 
"Baby please don't be mad at me. I love you so much." 
"Luke we don't work.. you and I. It doesn't work. We always fight." 
"I know we do and Del I'm so so sorry. I'm trying to make this work I'm just mot around much anymore. Babe. We can make this work. This relationship won't be a walk down easy street. But we've kept it up this long surely we can keep it going. I love you more than life Delilah Irwin." Luke tugs at his hair and I see a few tears fall from his cheeks.
"I love you too Luke." I sigh.

Luke is in love with his best friend, Ashton Irwin. He constantly finds himself getting stuck in situations where he feels exposed to his feelings and sexuality. That's the problem. "We're friends of course." He said smiling at me coming closer to me but I pushed him away. "No Luke. What the hell is this thing between us?" I asked and his eyes widen. "Oh, we're friends with benefits if you want to put it that way." He said still sitting in his spot. At least the twins were with Liz so they can't be upset by this commotion "Luke I'm sorry but I can't go on like this. It's hurting me to know that with all that's going on with the two of us, you see me as 'just a friend who you can go to and kiss and flirt with all the time'. Luke never really liked the fact that his best friend Calum spent most of his time following another guy around, especially somebody who was so popular and maybe even a little bit famous. Ashton was a model and was constantly on the move, needing to be in perfect condition at all times. That's what Calum was there for. He was Ashton's personal assistant and he does everything that is asked of him. The last thing Ashton ever wanted to do was hurt Luke, but he couldn't help it. The singer was just so beautiful, so ethereal and otherworldly that it took his breath away most of the time. Everyone felt that way about their best friend though, right? It was normal. No use getting unnecessary feelings involved, it was better this way. Luke understood. Luke wasn't sure when this thing between him and Ashton started, or how it started, but it didn't matter. He was in too deep to go back now. So Luke would let Ashton use him, hurt his feelings and crawl back with apologies. Because at the end of the day, even when Luke had to watch Ashton leave the bar with a new pretty blonde each night, he knew the drummer would eventually end up back in his bed. And Luke told himself he was okay with that.
